With over 40 years in private practice, Fred Newby has divided his work between representation of individuals and businesses, in both litigation and transactional matters.  His litigation experience extends from personal injury to complex commercial litigation.  Mr. Newby's transactional experience includes structuring and acquisition of businesses, commercial real estate sales, real estate development and individual residential real estate matters.

Franchised Food Operations
Ongoing representation of owners and operators of numerous national franchised food operations, including lease negotiations in various settings.

Golf Courses
Represented the purchasers of 22 eighteen-hole golf courses over the span of several years, including the negotiation of purchase agreements and closing of the purchases.

Representation of purchasers and operators of 600,000 sq. ft. in three retail mall buildings on 52 acres of land.
