Mr. States Roberson joined Newby, Sartip & Masel in 2023. He grew up in Columbia, South Carolina, and now resides in North Myrtle Beach with his fiancé. States earned his B.S. in Business Management from Presbyterian College with minors in Chinese Studies and Political Science in 2017. Upon graduating, he began working as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator until he decided to pursue a career in the legal profession. States earned his Juris Doctor in May of 2023 from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he achieved Dean’s List recognition. While in law school, States was the treasurer for the Technology and Law Student Association.  He currently serves as the Secretary and Treasurer for the Carolina Forest BNI Chapter and is an active member of the Grand Strand Young Professionals. When States isn’t in the office, he enjoys playing tennis and kayaking with his fiancé, Darcy Nirenstein, cheering on the Gamecocks, and enjoying the beach.
